KD+P teamed with Experience Science! to conduct multiple community charrettes in an effort to define the regional content desired for their new 2,000 sq. ft. gallery. Educators, care givers, board members, and young students were engaged in a Design-A-Space process that let them design exhibit components using a wide variety of materials. They were then asked to present their creation. Through this process the museum and design team gained vital information that was incorporated into the design of their new Discovery Park gallery. The gallery is STEM focused and provides visitors with the opportunity to understand science in the world around them. Science is everywhere!
