KD+P and Bruce Barker of Interactive Play Company partnered with The Children’s Museum of the Upstate and Michelin North America to create an outdoor, completely accessible play area. The centerpiece of the play area, which focuses on mobility and sustainability, is the central climb structure that represents the “City of the Future.” This concept evolved into “Bib’s World”, the imaginary world where “Bib”, the Michelin Man, lives. The entire area is ADA accessible and bilingual, in English and French, to represent Michelin’s home country.
